Eco Council Go Birdwatching and Exploring in

Hanley Park

On Thursday 9th February, our St Mark’s Eco councillors had an amazing afternoon birdwatching and exploring Hanley Park. They all agreed that it was great to get out into their local area and experience the wonders of nature. We are so lucky to have such a wonderful place to visit on our doorstep. The children were great role models and did us proud as always.

Eco Council Plant Bulbs in Hanley Park

The Eco Council had a great time at Hanley Park planting bulbs. Clair, the Park Liaison Officer, talked to them about how planting is important to our eco system. They planted bluebells, wood anemone, snowdrops, winter aconite and wild daffodils. Go down to the park in the late spring to see the flourishes of flowers they have planted.
