We are an inclusive and nurturing school where pupils feel safe, happy, secure and ready to learn to achieve their very best. We recognise all pupils as individuals and their needs come first in all we do. We believe that pupils achieve their very best when school and homes work together in partnership. We are a school that strives for success at all levels, encouraging children to grow in confidence and independence as they progress through the school. The school's life is driven by enthusiasm, dedication, and a desire to succeed. We promote active and creative learning, encouraging children to embrace challenge, build resilience, and celebrate success. Our curriculum is intentionally broad, and children can participate in a variety of cross-curricular activities, as well as music, performance, and sports.

Our school’s Christian vision is at the heart of all we do at St Mark’s and is underpinned by our school values of RESPECT - Responsibility, Equality, Spirituality, Perseverance, Enthusiasm, Commitment and Trust. We aim to make a positive difference to the world we live in for ourselves and others by following the example of the Good Samaritan.

Our school motto is ‘Loving to learn, learning to love’… together inspired by Jesus’ words of “Let all that you do be done with love.” 1 Corinthians 16:14.

On 1st June 2020, St. Mark’s joined the Orchard Community Trust and work closely with a number of schools including Abbey Hulton Primary School, Etruscan Primary School, Forest Park Primary School, Kemball School, Oakhill Primary School and Watermill School, as well as the Trust’s two associate schools St. Paul’s CE Primary School and St. John’s CE Primary School.

This website is intended to let you know more about the life and work of our church school, including our Nursery class which is based in the Thomas Boughey Children's Centre. If you do need further assistance after visiting the website, please feel free to contact the school directly.
