Year 5 visited the Potteries Museum and Art Gallery to take part in a STEM workshop delivered by the Royal Airforce. The children were given the opportunity to learn the science behind how aeroplanes fly, whilst working next to the legendary Spitfire. After assembling their own glider, the children then took part in a competition with prizes given for the furthest distance travelled and also the most improved design.
