Y2 visit The City Central Mosque
This week our Year 2 pupils have had a warm welcome from the City Central Mosque. As part of our learning in RE we were thinking about ‘What makes some places sacred to believers?’. Children got to learn about the important role the Mosque plays in the community and were able to ask lots of interesting questions about its history. The Imam answered questions which helped the children to understand the key question alongside a guided tour of the mosque.

Along the way, we identified many landmarks and features.
